SZC planned road closures

You can find information on planned road closures due to the construction process using Sizewell C's own tracker. This provides the latest details on road closures, abnormal loads movement, traffic management & footpath closures. Please note that all notices are subject to change at short notice. Below, are a couple of longer-term closures.

Willow Marsh Lane, Darsham is closed until late July 2026 to enable the construction of the Northern Park & Ride roundabout and site. Diversion in place via Walpole Road, A144, A12.

Abbey Lane, Leiston is closed until January 2027 to enable the construction of the new railway line. Diversions in place via Harrow Lane, Hawthorn Road and Pretty Road.
